Serving as a Traffic Warden

As a traffic warden with the Bangalore city police traffic warden organization( BCP-TWO), we are given a unique opportunity to be part of the traffic management system. Being a uniformed office of a 40+ years old organization, it gives us pride, learning and opportunity to serve. Beyond traffic management, the wardens also deliver road safety awareness programs, manage traffic during festivals and processions, and participate in Independence and Republic Day state parades. For me, this voluntary role provides a unique opportunity to work directly on the ground with traffic authorities and road users and provides opportunities such as:
